When the founders of base began the search for their son’s first bike, they hit a snag. They knew what they wanted; something lightweight, with quality components and a kid-friendly geometry that made learning easy and fun. The snag? That bike didn’t exist in Australia.
Solution? Just make the bike yourself, of course. And so, base bikes was born, an Aussie-run business dedicated to making the best kids bikes in Australia.
With Epic on hand, we get knowledgeable minds guiding us from everything to negotiating minimum order quantities, to sorting out the ocean freight and managing the imports. Since we had never imported anything before, this really helped us out.
