Hot Source is $2,499 AUD as a one-off setup fee, plus a 15% order management fee on the total value of each manufacturing order. The setup fee covers supplier discovery, factory verification, sampling coordination, and getting your first product to production-ready stage. The 15% order management fee applies to ongoing orders and covers production oversight, QC, and logistics coordination.
Absolutely. We can start with your core 1–2 products, get sampling and quality right, then expand to your full range when you're ready. There's no need to commit to all product categories upfront — starting lean is the smart approach, especially in the early development stage.
Very hands-on. Our China-based QC specialist reviews samples on the ground, sends you detailed photo and video reports at each stage, and flags anything that doesn't meet your spec before it leaves the factory. You receive virtual approval before samples are shipped to you in Australia for final sign-off.
The Supplier Finding service ($899 per category) identifies and shortlists 5 verified factories matching your brief — then you manage the supplier relationship directly. Hot Source ($2,499 + 15% order management) is a fully managed service where Epic works independently on your project under your supervision, handling everything from sourcing to QC and logistics. Note that Hot Source does not disclose our supplier networks, so all orders continue through Epic Sourcing.
Typically 100–300 units per style per colour for custom garments. For sampling, most factories produce 1–3 units per style at a higher per-unit rate. The exact MOQ depends on the factory, product complexity, and whether you're using custom fabrics or off-the-shelf materials — we negotiate these on your behalf.
