Almine Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% Japanese-owned enterprise specialising in high-quality aluminium alloy materials in the form of wire rod, wire, and round bar. Operating from a 33,000 m² campus in Luong Son Industrial Park, Phu Tho Province, the company produces aluminium alloy products spanning Series 1000 through 7000. Approximately 90–95% of output is exported, making Almine Vietnam one of the most export-oriented aluminium manufacturers in Northern Vietnam.

Established in November 2010 with charter capital of USD 5.0 million (fully owned by Almine Co., Ltd. of Osaka, Japan), the Phu Tho facility was completed in late 2013 with commercial production from January 2014. In October 2014 it was reclassified as an Export Processing Enterprise. Total investment stands at approximately USD 45 million.

Parent company Almine Co., Ltd. traces its origins to 1921 in Osaka — over 100 years of aluminium expertise. Its proprietary continuous casting and rolling technology, commercialised in Japan from 1975, produces aluminium with finer, more uniform microstructure and zero segregation versus conventional casting.

Since obtaining ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification in May 2017, Almine Vietnam has applied JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) as its primary quality benchmark.

Factory Information

Almine Vietnam's facility is in Luong Son Industrial Park, Luong Son Commune, Phu Tho Province — ~70 km north-west of Hanoi. The campus covers 33,000 m² total, with 15,000 m² of enclosed factory floor and 1,000 m² of office space. Production begins with ingot/alloy feedstock melted in two 25-tonne furnaces, then the proprietary continuous casting and rolling line, then drawing machines and heat-treatment furnaces. Eddy-current flaw detection provides inline inspection. QC runs under JIS benchmarks and ISO 9001:2015; environmental management is ISO 14001:2015 certified.
