Song Hong Aluminum Shalumi Group Joint Stock Company (“Shalumi”) is one of Vietnam's largest and most established aluminium manufacturers, founded on 1 April 1999 and initially operating under Vietnam's Ministry of Construction. The company privatised in 2004 and has expanded continuously since, building a reputation as a pioneer in aluminium products for construction, industrial, and interior/exterior decoration applications.

Headquartered and factory-based in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province — around 80 km northwest of Hanoi — Shalumi operates a vertically integrated campus of nearly seven hectares, covering the full production chain from raw alloy casting to finished, surface-treated profiles.

Shalumi holds the Vietnam Gold Star Award, Leading Brand in Vietnam, High Quality Vietnam Goods, and the Third-Class Labour Medal. Products conform to ISO 9001:2015 and Vietnamese standard QCVN 16:2017/BXD, and its trademark is registered with the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.

The company employs approximately 500 staff, with a Hanoi sales office and an international trade team handling exports to the USA, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Germany, and the wider EU.

Factory Information

Shalumi's main campus is at Hong Ha Street, Ben Got Ward, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province, ~80 km northwest of Hanoi on National Highway 2. The nearly seven-hectare site houses 12 production plants: one alloy casting plant (18,000 t/yr), two extrusion plants on nine press lines (16,000 t/yr), three powder-coating plants (14,000 t/yr), two wood-grain filming plants (6,000 t/yr), two anodised colour-plating plants (21,000 t/yr), an anodised processing plant, and a mechanical engineering plant. A rooftop solar system was announced in 2025–2026.
