Shinyang Metal Vietnam Co., Ltd is the Vietnamese manufacturing subsidiary of Shinyang Metal Ind. Co., Ltd, one of South Korea's leading aluminium extrusion companies. Founded in 1976 in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, the Korean parent company has spent five decades establishing itself as a benchmark producer of precision aluminium extrusion profiles for industrial, construction, solar energy, and automotive applications. In 2015, Shinyang established its Vietnam operations to leverage competitive manufacturing costs and proximity to Southeast Asian supply chains, choosing Hai Phong — Vietnam's premier industrial port city — as its base.

The Vietnam facility operates a fully integrated NON-STOP production system covering aluminium billet casting, extrusion, surface treatment (anodising and finishing), and secondary CNC processing. The factory complex at Dai An Expanded Industrial Park spans 76,033 m² and has been progressively expanded since the first phase opened in 2016. A melting and billet casting facility was added in 2022, giving the Vietnam site complete upstream control over raw material quality. Extrusion presses range from 2,000 tonnes to 5,000 tonnes, enabling production of both standard architectural profiles and complex precision profiles for industrial and automotive sectors.

Shinyang Metal Vietnam holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications for quality and environmental management, along with IATF 16949 (automotive quality system) certification — one of very few Vietnam-based aluminium extrusion suppliers capable of meeting the stringent requirements of Hyundai-Kia tier-1 supplier status. The company is a proven exporter to the United States, Japan, and South Korea, with annual export volumes exceeding US$113.7 million (April 2025 – March 2026).

Factory Information

Shinyang Metal Vietnam's primary Vietnam facility is located at the Dai An Expanded Industrial Park in Hai Phong City, offering direct container port access via Hai Phong Port (approximately 15 km). The site has been developed in multiple phases since 2016, with the most recent additions in 2022 bringing integrated melting and billet casting capacity. Production infrastructure includes extrusion presses from 2,000 to 5,000 tonnes clamping force, with surface treatment lines meeting IATF 16949 automotive specification requirements.
