PIRIOU VIETNAM CO., LTD (formerly SEAS — South East Asia Shipyard) is the Vietnamese subsidiary of PIRIOU GROUP, a French shipbuilding leader headquartered in Concarneau, Brittany. Established in August 2006 at Ben Luc, Long An Province, the shipyard was built to deliver high-added-value aluminium and steel vessels at competitive prices, leveraging Vietnam's strategic location and skilled maritime workforce.

Factory Information

PIRIOU Vietnam's primary manufacturing site is located at Ben Luc, Long An Province, approximately 40 km south-west of Ho Chi Minh City. The facility provides 25,000 m² of quay-level working space alongside 5,000 m² of covered production sheds. The centrepiece infrastructure includes a 120m × 21m graving dry dock with a 240-tonne gantry crane and a 90m × 20m synchrolift rated to 2,300 tonnes, one of the largest ship-hoisting platforms in southern Vietnam. A 400m fitting quay provides berths for vessels in outfitting and commissioning. The Nha Be operational base in Ho Chi Minh City serves as a secondary site for administrative functions and vessel outfitting.
