Do Thanh Aluminium Joint Stock Company — trading under the Grando brand — is one of Vietnam's top five aluminium profile manufacturers by output. Founded on 2 May 1994 as a limited company and converted to a joint stock structure in 2008, Grando has spent more than 30 years building a vertically integrated aluminium operation spanning billet casting, profile extrusion, surface treatment, and precision machining. Headquartered at Phu Thi Industrial Park in Gia Lam District, Hanoi, it operates three sites — Hanoi, Hung Yen, and Hai Duong — totalling ~300,000 m².

Grando launched its retail brand in 2015 and today supplies 50,000 tonnes of finished profiles and nearly 72,000 tonnes of billets annually. It claims the highest automation rate in Vietnam in the aluminium bar segment, with equipment from Germany and Switzerland.

Grando holds the Vietnam Value award, Fast500 and VNR500 rankings, and the Gold Star Award, and was recognised in the Top 100 Potential Growth Enterprises in Vietnam (2025). It holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and Ministry of Construction conformity certificates (TCVN 5838-1994, TCVN 5842-1994). Charter capital is approximately USD 50 million. With 600+ employees and continuous training, it combines scale with skilled technical capability. In late 2024 it installed its 16th extrusion line to support export growth.

Factory Information

Grando operates three sites across northern Vietnam: the primary facility at Phu Thi Industrial Park, Gia Lam District, Hanoi (since 2004); a second in Hung Yen Province (online 2019–2020) for large-capacity industrial extrusion; and a third in Hai Duong Province (2021, expanded 2022–2023 with two additional billet furnaces). Combined infrastructure includes 16 extrusion lines (16th installed late 2024), 4 billet furnaces, 2 electrostatic painting lines, 1 wood-grain painting line, 2 anodising lines, 4 automatic processing systems, and 3 sandblasting lines. Key equipment is sourced from Germany and Switzerland.
