Sapa Ben Thanh Aluminium Profiles Co., Ltd — known commercially as Sapa BTG — is one of Vietnam's most established aluminium extrusion manufacturers, operating from its plant in Binh Chieu Industrial Zone, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. Founded in 1996 as a joint venture originally called VIJALCO (Vietnam Japan Aluminium Co., Ltd.), the company has built nearly three decades of manufacturing expertise serving both domestic and international markets.

In December 2010, the company was rebranded as Sapa Ben Thanh following a partnership with the global Sapa Group — a leading European aluminium extrusion specialist owned by Norsk Hydro — and Vietnam's Ben Thanh Group. This alignment with Hydro/Sapa's global quality systems brought international production standards, engineering capabilities, and export networks to the Vietnamese facility. In January 2020, Hydro divested its 65% stake to a Vietnamese investor, completing the transition to majority Vietnamese ownership while retaining the Sapa BTG brand and operational excellence.

The facility spans an estimated 20,000 square metres and houses the full aluminium extrusion value chain under one roof. This includes billet pre-heating and preparation, two extrusion press lines, an ageing furnace, a Class I/II anodising plant with waste water and air treatment systems, a powder coating line (PVDF and polyester), and a CNC fabrication centre capable of drilling, cutting, milling, bending, and welding finished profiles to specification.
